The Chrome Precision Base Plate helps cut a wide variety of materials, including paper, cardstock, metallic foil, vinyl, vellum and thin cork. In addition, the Chrome Precision Base Plate leaves no impressions behind from previous cuts�so it always looks new even after 1000 uses!
The Chrome Precision Base Plate allows most intricate Thinlits dies to be cut in a single pass through the machine. (Please note: Do not use with Big Shot Foldaway or Big Shot Plus Machines � this will result in reduced cutting pad and die life. Also do NOT use the Chrome Precision Base Plate with steel-rule dies as damage may occur.)
