The newest addition to Seth Apter's Matrix series, Zig Zag (along with Hopscotch, Mesh Mash, and Surplus) are all about abstract mark making. The designs enable and encourage you to pick and choose which elements to stencil so that you can create something different and all your own each time they are used.
Zig Zag, a 6" x 6" stencil, can be used to add detail to a background, as an abstract focal point, for a border, or to simply make random marks. The design makes it easy to cover larger surfaces by rotating the stencil and adding it repeatedly to your art surface.
