WOW! Woke up on this wonderful Sunday morning...a bit cloudy, but went out on to the porch to have some juice and the mountain had this beautiful steam all over it. What an incredible view! I just sat for a while taking it all in and remembering that no matter what bad things get thrown at me this year, I am a lucky girl. I spent just a minute breathing it in and thanking nature for the beauty before me - which of course inspired this Thank You card - it only took a total of about an hour to design and assemble this one - inspiration is cool!
Materials needed:
7 X 10 dark purple card stock
6 3/4 X 4 3/4 ivory cardstock
6 3/4 X 4 3/4 daisy pattern paper (for inside of card)
6 1/2 X 4 1/2 daisy pattern paper
6 1/2 X 4 1/2 ivory cardstock with inside sentiment printed (see inside sentiment below)
3 1/2 inch scalloped circle in dark purple card stock
3 inch circle printed with Thank You (I used A770 Roman, 59 pt font)
Instructions:
Fold 7 X 10 dark purple card stock in half (to create a 5 X 7 card) - be sure to make a crisp fold!
Adhere ivory cardstock to front of card
Adhere daisy pattern paper to ivory cardstock
Adhere Thank you circle to dark purple scalloped circle
Adhere matted circle to front right of card
Inside of Card:
Print "The world is a better place because of people like you" on ivory cardstock - cut to 6 1/2 X 4 1/2
Adhere inside sentiment to 6 3/4 X 4 3/4 daisy pattern paper
Adhere matted sentiment to inside right of card
